ANDREW: God is great. God is good.
As a child, I remember praying, “God is great. God is good. Let us thank him for our food. By his hands we all are fed. Let us thank him for our daily bread.” It teaches us to be thankful for the basic necessities of life. In the midst of the protests in so many countries that have stopped their economic production people are left without food. So I am thankful for my food.
God is great and good to provide people who worked so diligently to help us transition to Swift Creek Middle School. I just want you to know you all did a great job leading and helping make it work. Keep up the good work as it will take us several weeks to adjust to setting up and cleaning up at this new location. So please be patient. But also be bold to invite friends to come to church. We don’t need to have everything just right before we invite people to come. We’ve said we value authenticity, right?
The gospel doesn’t lead us to invite people to come to a place where everything is perfect. It leads us to invite people to come join others who struggle yet find great hope and peace in Jesus.
