ANDREW: Joseph suffered and may have been depressed…

As I have been preaching about Joseph over the past couple of weeks I have thought many times about people who face suffering in varying degrees. I felt like there was so much more that could have been said in the sermons. I found two short articles from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation that are helpful. These are great to read whether you are suffering, feel depressed, or want to understand what it is like for people in these very difficult situations.

This link will take you to the article on depression:

I encourage you to browse their resources and search for articles that may be helpful to you. However, my goal is first and foremost to keep you interacting with Jesus. So browse, but also pray! Keep praying with honesty and asking God for hope. And when suffering or depression overcomes your life with a dark fog talk to a pastor or counselor.
