The past two weeks I have preached about Jesus’ encounters with a moral, religious leader and an immoral, religious woman. We saw that morality cannot qualify us for grace and immorality cannot disqualify us from grace. In both instances God’s grace is extravagant. Yet I know that you struggle with this. I know you struggle with grasping grace because I struggle with it—it is the default position of mankind to give grades and make the cut. When we don’t we can feel guilty and horrible. In fact, you may feel like you live a life full of regrets. I hope that is not the case, but I suspect it is. So I hope you find this article as encouraging as I found it. It is titled “If Only…” Living with Regrets and can be found here: (http://www.ccef.org/if-only-living-regrets).
