Church Info: Spring Run Presbyterian Church was planted in 2006 in Midlothian, a growing suburb of Richmond, VA. We are committed to proclaiming and embodying the gospel which produces a gospel-centered ministry culture that promotes authenticity, sees lives transformed, influences our community, and plants new churches. Director of Children's Ministry | October 2021
Description: This is a part-time position (about 15 hours/week) to serve more than 150 newborn through elementary-aged children in our church. We are searching for someone who loves children, is excellent at recruiting and encouraging volunteers, has a high level of organizational skills, and is adept at learning new technologies.
Qualifications: The position requires practical ministry skills including the ability to work with other staff, to lead volunteer leaders, and to be an example of loving children in the church and community in the name of Jesus. Financial Administrator | November 2021
Description: This is a part-time position of approximately 12-15 hours per week working with 6-7 other staff members. The Financial Administrator is a ministry that supports the other ministries of the church. As such it is a liaison position as the channel for communication between each of the constituencies below and also with the congregation. This will require efficient attention to many details, sharp problem solving skills, some project coordination, and a devotion to “customer service” since we value relationships and grace-centered interaction with one another.
Qualifications: Experience in bookkeeping and accounting is required. Previous experience in a church or with a non-profit is preferred. Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and working knowledge of GSuites. See the full job description for more detail.
