Spring Run Kids provides age-appropriate gospel lessons for your kids.
When kids reach the age of 3 years old, they are invited to join our Spring Run Kids Program. This is an important time for your kids to grow in their Bible knowledge, gospel understanding, and to help them shape their faith through learning more about Jesus.
We are committed to a multifaceted approach of equipping parents so they can coach and assist the kids during congregational worship. Ultimately, we desire for kids to be excited about worship, and want to join their parents for worship as they grow.
Kids start worship with their parents in the sanctuary. After praise and worship, your kid(s) will be excused for their age appropriate lesson. They will return following the sermon, to finish worshiping with their parents.
We are currently using the Great Commissions Publication, Show Me Jesus. GCP’s Christ-centered, Show Me Jesus curriculum is doctrinally sound, spiritually nourishing, interactive, and easy to use. The curriculum teaches the entire Bible . . . from Genesis to Revelation. Both teacher and student grow—not just in knowledge—but also in their readiness to live out their faith in God’s world.
We strive to equip our Spring Run Kids Teachers in three ways:
1) By encouraging them in the gospel and making sure their teaching is saturated in every way by the good news of Jesus Christ.
2) By giving them access to excellent resources and curriculum.
3) By providing them with support and encouragement in their daily lives.
Kids should check-in for Spring Run Kids before service begins at one of two “Spring Run Kids Check-In” carts located in the lobby. If you are visiting for the first time, a volunteer will help get your kid(s) checked in before service or once the children are excused from service. All volunteers working with children have completed and cleared a background check.
