Spring Run Kids provides age-appropriate gospel lessons for your kids.
Spring Run Kids invites children 3 and up to attend our Sunday School Classes. This is an important time for your kids to grow in their Bible knowledge, gospel understanding, and to help them shape their faith through learning more about Jesus.
We are committed to a multifaceted approach of equipping parents so they can coach and assist the kids during congregational worship. Ultimately, we desire for kids to be excited about worship, and want to join their parents for worship as they grow.
We are currently using Dwell curriculum which is doctrinally sound, spiritually nourishing, interactive, and easy to use. The curriculum teaches the entire Bible . . . from Genesis to Revelation. Both teacher and student grow—not just in knowledge—but also in their readiness to live out their faith in God’s world. DWELL children's ministry and Sunday school curriculum actively engages kids in God’s story using interactive games, reflective wondering, and dramatic storytelling. DWELL is grounded in a Reformed perspective and solid pedagogy. Each lesson includes activities based on multiple intelligence theories.
We strive to equip our Spring Run Kids Teachers in three ways:
1) By encouraging them in the gospel and making sure their teaching is saturated in every way by the good news of Jesus Christ.
2) By giving them access to excellent resources and curriculum.
3) By providing them with support and encouragement in their daily lives.
Kids should check-in for Spring Run Kids; Sunday School before service begins at one of two “Spring Run Kids Check-In” carts located in the youth room hallway. If you are visiting for the first time, a volunteer will help get your kid(s) checked in. All volunteers working with children have completed and cleared a background check.
