Why We Give
We give to support the mission and vision of SRPC because of responsibility and generosity. Jesus tells a parable in Matthew 25 about his followers being like investment managers of the resources they have been given by Jesus. His point is that everything we have comes from God and therefore we have a responsibility to wisely use what he has entrusted to us.
God gives us his generous love in Christ which cultivates amazing generosity within and through us. It loosens the grip of greed. It invites us to trust God. It allows us to participate in an investment strategy with eternal dividends as the gospel changes lives. We thank you for supporting the mission and vision of SRPC and encourage you to give generously and responsibly.

Remember the words of the Apostle Paul; “But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:7-9)
